Rwanda acquits more than 700 inmates
Rwanda has on this Sunday 15th July 2018 released 743 prisoners from various prisons following the decisions taken during last Wednesday cabinet Meeting which was chaired by President Paul Kagame.
Among them 43 are women while 19 of them are children.
However the Presidential tolerance is not for those who have been found guilty of Genocide crimes and Conspiracy.
The Spokesperson of Rwanda Correction Services, SSP Sengabo Hillary told IGIHE News website that “The acquitted prisoners are those who have served at least 2/3 of their condemnations”
