Louise Mushikiwabo: Return from Exile to Diplomacy

This is the candidate that nobody was waiting for.

Louise Mushikiwabo, Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, officially endorsed, somewhat to everyone’s surprise, by President Macron in March 2018, will undoubtedly take the reins of the International Organization of La Francophone, TOPAFRICANEWS has established.

Return from Exile to Diplomacy

Born in 1961 in Kigali where she grew up, Louise Mushikiwabo is the youngest of a family of nine children.

After graduating from high school, she teaches English time before earning a scholarship to go to the United States.

It is from Washington where she became an interpreter that she will live the drama of the genocide (April to July 1994), whose brother, the political leader Landoald Ndasingwa (called Lando), is one of the first victims.
