Rwanda, South Africa Relations are Solid
The South African International Relations ministry maintains that relations between South Africa and Rwanda are solid despite the recall of the country’s high commissioner in Kigali, TOPAFRICANEWS has learnt from SA FM.
Official in South African International Relations Ministry told SA FM that South Africa and Rwanda have strong ties that can’t be shaken by the Tweet on Social media.
Earlier this week, South African Media reported that the SA has recalled its Ambassador to Kigali following offensive tweets by Rwanda’s Deputy Foreign Minister towards International Relations Minister.
The Media also reported that Rwandan newspaper Rushyashya insulted SA Foreign Affairs Minister Lindiwe Sisulu to the point it called her a prostitute.
Rwandan Deputy Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe tweeted last night that
South African Official said despite the Tweet in contradiction the two countries have a lot to share more than one tweet which he said “They have discussed with Kigali About that.”
