Congolese Army kill 20 militiamen in Kalingati and Pabuka
The FARDC killed around 20 militiamen during operations launched on January 31 against all Mayi-Mayi groups, perpetrators of insecurity on the Beni-Butembo road and the surrounding towns of the city of Beni.
According to Major Mak Hazukay, spokesperson for Sokola 1, during the destruction of two camps of these militiamen in Kalingati and Pabuka, two loyalist soldiers, including one officer, were killed.
Major Mak Hazukay called on the population to denounce fleeing militiamen and those wounded during these operations.
The FARDC also recovered during these operations, weapons and other military equipment.
