Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, will be the guest of honor this year. He will be the only head of state to attend this ceremony. In addition, soldiers from the Southern Indian Ocean (FZSOI) will participate in the major military parade on June 26 at the Mahamasina stadium.

The official program of festivities for the celebration of the national holiday, June 26, was unveiled yesterday by General Tiharison Randrianatoandro, president of the organizing committee of the event.

The first and big change in the celebration of June 26 is the cancellation of the traditional banquet held at the Iavoloha Palace for thirty years.

the afternoon, from 14h.

After the grand parade, the police forces will organize a demonstration of their know-how in defense and security.

The military parade will be broadcast as usual live on national channels,

The cultural events will be centered at Analakely and will begin four days before the final ceremony on June 26th. Famous artists and foreign artists will be there.
