SPORTS: KIGALI TO HOST TWO INTERNATIONAL GAMES THIS WEEKEND

This coming weekend, soccer lovers in Kigali and its neighboring cities will be gathered at Stade de Kigali to support their respective teams Rayon Sports FC that represents Rwanda in CAF champions league and AS Kigali which will be playing CAF confederations cup.

Being the champions of Azam Rwanda Premier League led Rayon Sports to a crash against Sudanese side Al-Hilal Club that arrived in Kigali this Wednesday. There is a possibility for Rayon Sports to be granted an access to use in this tournament Oumar Sidibé and Commodore Olokwei, two Western African players who signed for this team, as they have got their ITC.

On the other side, Al-Hilal Club arrived in Kigali with a great hope to win though they came without their two international players who were left due to team internal issues as declared by one of the team staff.

The game between Rayon Sports and Al-Hilal Club is expected on Sunday at Stade de Kigali, while the day before, on this stadium, AS Kigali who won Rwanda Peace Cup will be facing Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) from Tanzania in CAF Confederation Cup. Though the Tanzanian team signed a Rwandan international midfielder, Mugiraneza Jean Baptiste, they are not allowed to use him neither in first leg nor the second leg.
