Rwanda-Kigali: Salesian Seminar on Youth and Christus Vivit ends in Style

 
The seminar on youth and Christus Vivit, held from September 8th to September 10th, 2019, in Kigali, Rwanda, was concluded with a call to the young people to seek Jesus guidance while Salesians of Don Bosco in Africa of Great Lakes (SDB-AGL) continue to search for tangible solutions to the challenges that youth are facing today.
 
The province of Don Bosco in Great Lakes Africa promises to help young people to seek Jesus, while inviting them to imitate the values of their founder, DON BOSCO.
 
 
Fr. Pierre Celestin Ngoboka, Provincial Director of Salesians of Don Bosco of the AGL, said on Monday at the official opening of the seminar: “We Salesians of Don Bosco of the Great Lakes Province composed of Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda, moved by the charism that we owe to this saint who is also our founder, took the initiative to organize this seminar to reflect together, as women and men of the Church, on a new methodology to evangelize and educate today’s youth. »
 
 
At the closing ceremony, Provincial Father reminded the youth that “During the two days of the seminar we discussed how we can help today’s young people, how to evangelize them and find solutions to the challenges young people are facing today. ”
 
“We are with you in your choice to seek Jesus”, added the Provincial Father at the end of the Eucharistic celebration which was part of the closing of the seminary.
 
 
The Salesians of the AGL Province also declared that “With the intervention of the Church leaders, we are convinced that we will take a step forward to find concrete solutions to the education of young people in Salesian institutions.
 
 
 
After the Eucharistic celebration, all the participants of the seminar took part in a moment of conviviality marked by the sharing of dinner and a lively music of different kinds, as part of the closing of this seminar so appreciated by all.
