We do remind ourselves when we talked about Rwanda and only referred to the Genocide and the life of orphans, Genocidal acts, FDLR attacks, rumours spread by pro-Genocidal politicians and all those who were only targeting the provocation of panics among the Rwandan people torn apart by the tragic events of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.

And again when we talk about the humility of the Rwandan people, we also think about the visionary leadership of the RPF Inkotanyi and other political parties who decided to stay by the winning team led by President Paul Kagame, who is a model of a good leader who aims for the positive transformation of his/her citizens.

It is very recently that we all learnt about his decision to cancel the presentation of the performance contracts (Imihigo) of the Districts while asking that these contracts must show how they will change in a typical way the socio-economic life of a simple Rwandan citizen. This means that Rwandans need to see a copy of transformative policies being replicated even down to their homes than being mirrored in a global picture of the general country’s development, undoubtedly that what it meant when performance contracts were returned for revision.

This is a decision of a good leader who analyses the policy in place and knows what is lacking to have positive results for the good of his people.

A good leader knew that no one can do everything alone, which is why having the policy that gives room for different ideas is another characteristic of his leadership even if it was done in a way that one cannot simply identify.

The Rwandan Team leader whose government started with the contribution of the old experienced politicians continued to be keen on understanding various views from all corners, youth and olds to be able to shape the real direction of his people who are very fond of reaching big to fill even the gaps left by the ancient laziness of the past times.

Within our era as young as we are, he still knows that the young also have gained the necessary capacity for them to bring in a transformative direction with a faster speed, therefore with the difference.

For 2020 vision! What Rwanda has achieved for 20 years is remarkable in the fields of infrastructure, technology, education, agriculture, modernization of industrial sector, security and the rejuvenation of security forces, the tourism sector also bequeathed to the young leaders, construction of different leisure infrastructures, the list is long, but all those give the image of what young bloods must fight for in other 30 years to come so until the year 2050 as a new vision for the transformational change of the Rwandan peoples.

If we are together and for the policy that has guided the country in 20 past years since the establishment of the Vision 2020, then we must think how visionary and exemplary leadership must continue to inspire us in order to continue on the same path with unified vision and revolutionize in all areas as we did in the past 20 years.
