Rwanda: Supreme Court moves to cede the land to Groupe Duval to construct Inzovu Mall in Kigali

In Rwanda, the Supreme Court has moved on March 1, 2021 to the new building as Groupe Duval prepares to launch construction of Inzovu Business Mall in Kigali

Various Rwandan media recently announced that French company Groupe Duval will construct a modern building in Kigali in the square where the Supreme Court was located.

The move was announced shortly after company officials met Rwandan President Paul Kagame, to discuss the project and its associated investment.

So far, this information is true because the Supreme Court of Rwanda has already moved to Kacyiru to allow Groupe Duval to start construction activities of INZOVU Business Mall in this plot long occupied by the courthouse.

The right to transfer the land, covering an area of ​​26,000 square meters to the Duval Group, was published in the official Gazette of April 26, 2020.

Construction is due to start this year.

The Duval Group is a French company founded in 1996 by Eric Duval and managed by Pauline Duval. It has more than 4,000 employees and over the past 25 years It has earned 700 million dollars through investment in construction projects.

In Rwanda, its activities are managed by Duval Great Lakes Ltd led by Engineer Vicky Murabukirwa.

Among the projects of Duval Great Lakes Ltd for Rwanda, let us quote one of the most unique: that of the construction of the Inzovu Mall in Kimihurura next to the Kigali Convention Center and which will house renowned stores such as Zara, Levi’s, Lacoste or H&M among others.

The modern commercial building to be constructed will meet ecological standards. The building will also house the French hotel company Odalys City Business Apart Hotel.

Named “INZOVU”, the building presents a variety of business activities, games, entertainment, restaurants among other services.
