VIDEO: COP 27 Should focus on the impacts of climate change on African women – PACJA

At the sideline of the ongoing 8th Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development held in Kigali, Top Africa News Exclusively Interviewed Mela Chiponda, the Advocacy officer at Panafrican Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), to explain the reason why PACJA is calling for inclusion of African women voices and marginal groups in COP 27 process.

Mela Chiponda, the African eco-feminist, insists that “This COP 27 should actually speak to the needs and aspirations of African women.”

“There is a need to change the African narrative on women as key stakeholders in climate resilience and mitigation.”
