Kyriakos Agavanakis is appointed Chief Technical Officer of fleetenergies

fleetenergies, expert in processing fuel consumption data, fleet energy cost and carbon impact reduction, announces the nomination of the Greek researcher Kyriakos Agavanakis as Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Kyriakos Agavanakis holds a doctorate in information systems and will be in charge of the technological transformation of fleetenergies so as to exploit the full potential of deep learning and machine learning that the company has been developing for 12 years. In particular, he will contribute to the deployment of algorithms and evolutive services based on the Cloud to provide pragmatic solutions for clients using the 20 million or more pieces of data processed by fleetenergies every day. The company handles more than 35,000 fuel tanks modelled on a proprietary database.

Kyriakos Agavanakis is a specialist in onboard software, control systems and realtime data acquisition. He has acquired an international reputation having participated for over 25 years in numerous innovation projects – academic, commercial and industrial – in many different sectors, including automobiles, logistics and energy trading. In particular, he has worked for the European Union and the Greek public sector, and for private companies such as ThinkRIT, Meazon and EDS.
