Profemmes Twese Hamwe awarded for promoting the rights of women and girls
The Network of Women Parliamentarians of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, has decided to create the Prize for the Network of Women Parliamentarians of La Francophonie.
The APF member and associates have been asked to present a candidacy of a legal organization or person who has particularly distinguished himself/herself or itself for the promotion of the rights of women and girls.
This is how Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe received the prize from the Network of Women Parliamentarians of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie for its actions that have positively impacted on the status of women and girls in Rwanda.
The prize was presented to Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe on July 6, 2022 during the statutory meeting of the Network of Women Parliamentarians of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie held in Kigali.
