Rwanda: Nyungwe National Park announces new prices for visitors

Nyungwe Park has announced new rates that will be effective from January 2023.

These new prices envisage that Rwandans and EAC citizens will visit this park by paying $10 equivalent to Rwf 10 thousand per person, and if the visitor stays more than one night, he will add $5/Rwf 5000 for each additional night.

African who is not from the East African Community and Rwanda/EAC resident will pay $60 and if he stays for more than a night, an additional of $30 will be applied to each night.

For foreigners or international visitors, these new rates determine that they will pay $100 per person on one day visit, and if the visitor plans to stay more nights, he will add $50 for each additional night.

In a statement released by the management of this park, it says that “The new pricing aims to support the long-term sustainability of the park.”

Nyungwe park is well known for various activities including chimpanzee tracking, canopy walk, waterfall among others.
