EBCR launches its Youth Professional Network

An opportunity for young talented people to kick start their carrier or  entrepreneurship journey; 

An networking with other professionals and EBCR companies for their career  growth; 

The European Business Chamber in Rwanda is launching its YOUTH PROFESSIONAL  NETWORK on November 10 at Norrsken House 6PM, Kigali, Rwanda. 

The network is aiming to give the youth in Rwanda a platform to network with business  owners and company recruiters. Gaining market information from experts and peers,  approaching knowledge from seminars and conferences while attending workshops that will  enhance their skills and develop a network of business leaders, binding Europe, and Rwanda  further together.  

Together these professionals are all residents within Rwanda in the age of anything below 30  years old; able to communicate in either English or French, got a CV and a LinkedIn profile.  These professionals include, but are not limited to the groups of: 

A) Young entrepreneurs with a business of no more than 5 years. 

B) Skilled work experience between 1 and 5 years.  

C) Currently undertaking a masters’ course or with a previously conducted internship  with a professional international organization of at least three months.  

Talking to the press, our Executive Director Johanna SANDBERG said:  

“It is a great opportunity for the Rwandan youth to collaborate and join forces with business  leaders in the EBCR ecosystem to build common interest initiatives and develop a  sustainable business environment with the youth and to the benefit of the business players,  both European and Rwandan who will definitely grow in skills and capacity.” 

Talking to the press, our Youth Ambassador Joel TWAGIRAYEZU said: 

“It is an honor to represent my countrymen and women looking to thrive in the  entrepreneurship ecosystem of Rwanda and the region. EBCR is proposing a perfect  environment for our generation to have a European exposure and exchange best experience  that helps us to adapt to both the international standards for business development and to  empower our communities with homegrown solutions.”
