DelAgua Goes Clean: Celebrating World Environment Day with Climate Action!
On World Environment Day, DelAgua Rwanda distributed energy saving cookstoves to a rural community in Ngoma District in the Eastern Province of Rwanda.
These cookstoves are designed to reduce the amount of fuel needed for cooking, which in turn reduces emissions and saves money for families. The stoves are also safer than traditional open fires, reducing the risk of burns and respiratory illnesses caused by indoor air pollution.
The distribution event was a great success, with many families expressing their gratitude for the new cookstoves. DelAgua also provided training on how to use and maintain the stoves, ensuring that they will have a lasting impact on the community.
