Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: October 8, 2026
Website: Top Africa News

Thank you for choosing Top Africa News. We are committed to providing high-quality digital journalism, institutional marketing, media coverage, and training solutions across the African continent.

Because we specialize primarily in digital, irrevocable, and custom-tailored media services, our refund and cancellation terms are clearly defined by the type of service purchased below.

1. Sponsored Content, Press Releases, & Guest Posts

All editorial placements, sponsored articles, media features, and guest posts published on Top Africa News are considered permanent digital assets once they are live.

  • No Refunds Post-Publication: Once a draft or press release is approved by the client and published on our platform, it is non-refundable.
  • Content Policy Violations: In accordance with our Advertising Terms, any attempt to obscure commercial intent, publish deceptive marketing, or promote prohibited niches (such as unregulated financial platforms, “No-KYC” crypto promotions, or fraudulent schemes) will result in immediate removal of the content. Removed articles due to policy violations are strictly ineligible for a refund.
  • Pre-Publication Cancellations: If you submit payment but request to cancel before your article has been formatted, reviewed, or published, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 5% administrative and transaction processing fee.

2. Custom Institutional Partnerships & Media Coverage

For comprehensive media coverage, event streaming, corporate branding campaigns, and large-scale institutional partnerships booked through our Request a Partnership Portal:

  • Bilateral Contract Supremacy: All cancellations, milestone payments, retainers, and refunds are governed strictly by the individual, legally binding service contract signed between Top Africa News and your organization.
  • Retainers and Deposits: Unless specified otherwise in your direct contract, any initial setup deposits or retainers paid to secure media teams, equipment, or event dates are non-refundable to cover pre-event administrative allocation.

3. Media Academy, Workshops, & Training Courses

For individuals and corporate entities enrolled in our journalism, digital marketing, or media training programs:

  • Digital Course Access: If you purchase access to pre-recorded digital modules or downloadable educational materials, refunds are not permitted once the account portal has been accessed or files downloaded.
  • Live Workshops & Masterclasses:
    • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the start of a live workshop are eligible for a 100% refund (or free transfer to a future cohort).
    • Cancellations made between 2 and 7 days prior to the workshop are eligible for a 50% refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event, or failure to attend (“no-shows”), are completely non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing Windows

If a refund is approved by our management team under any of the valid categories listed above:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment (Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, or Mobile Money operator).
  • Standard processing times range between 7 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution’s processing cycles.

5. Contact and Resolution Support

We value your partnership and aim to resolve any operational discrepancies amicably. If you have questions regarding a charge, wish to contest a publishing delay, or need to request a formal cancellation, please reach out directly to our finance and administrative department:
