58 Pilots Complete Course At Ethiopian Aviation University

A total of 58 pilots from 12 countries have successfully completed Aviation studies at the Ethiopian Aviation University.
The University said on Monday that the graduates include 58 pilots, 115 aircraft maintenance technicians, and 284 cabin crew.
It added that the graduates hail from, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Yemen, Cameroon, Chad, Ethiopia, Gabon, Italy, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, and Senegal.

During the graduation ceremony held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, Laeke Tadesse the president of the University noted, “We are not educating professionals for Ethiopian Airlines; but shaping visionary leaders for the entire Africa in the aviation sector”, he underlined.
Present at the ceremony was Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew. He said there are several factors that have helped the Ethiopian Airlines to become the leading Airlines Group in Africa.
“The Airline has the ability to recruit, train, and retain a highly skilled and motivated workforce, he added.
