Rwandan Deported from India for overstay
Indian Police on Wednesday deported two nationals for overstay in India, TOPAFRICANEWS has learnt.
“Fredrick Kaitale (26) from Rwanda and Oria Blaise Stephane (25) from Ivory Cost were found overstaying in Kondhwa in a surprise inspection conducted by the prosecution and vigilance wing of foreigners’ registration Office.” Times of India reported on Thursday.
After the investigation, it was found that Kaitale came to India on a student visa issued on August 6, 2012 while his visa expired on February 6, 2013.
Indian police issued an emergency travel document to him following his deportation from India.
“He was deported via CSI airport, Mumbai to Addis-Ababa by Ethiopian Airlines” Police said.
