Rwandan refugee shot and killed in Uganda
A Rwandan Refugee was attacked and shot dead by armed men in Nakivale Refugee Settlements on boxing Day, TOPAFRICANEWS has learnt.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at 8:30 Pm at Kashasha cell, Mirambiro Parish, Rushasha Sub-county in Nakivale refugee camp in Isingiro District.
The deceased has been identified as Bucumi Laurent, a 65 years old male.
It is reported that he was killed by armed men in black clothes armed with SMG riffle and knife.
Ugandan Media report that Bucumi was at home during attack together with wife Owamanyi Marcelina aged 43, also a Rwandan.
The case was registered by Nakivale Police as CRR 193/2018
