Rwanda to host African Interpol Regional Conference with the participation of Morocco
The 24th African Interpol Regional Conference will be held from 5 to 7 February in Kigali, Rwanda; with the participation of senior police officials from African countries members of Interpol, including Morocco, announced the international organization.
Several security issues will be discussed during this meeting, including terrorism, human trafficking and environmental crime, says Interpol.
Founded in 1962, the African Interpol Regional Conference is held every two years to assess the state of police co-operation and the fight against transnational crime, as well as to develop new guidelines for police activities in the region in light of the priorities expressed by the police chiefs.
The recommendations presented by the Regional Conference are implemented at the level of each country in accordance with their own national regulations and procedures.
