PEFA Wisdom School celebrates the third graduation for Primary School Leaving students

PEFA Wisdom School has celebrated the third graduation of students ending primary section this Friday 8 November 2019, where the school management advised them to keep Christian values they acquired.

 Pefa Wisdom School located in Kinyinya Sector, Gasabo District about ten years ago, is affiliated to PEFA Church Rwanda (Pentecote Evangelique de la Fraternité Africaine). 

During the closing ceremony of year 2019/2020, at least 24 students graduated from Primary to secondary while other 73 graduated from levels of nursery section.

Such event seems to be a good occasion of enjoying achievements of the whole year, thanking everyone for his/her role and plan for the following year, the head teacher of PEFA Wisdom School, Serugo Pacifique, said.

“This is a good school because apart from ordinary lessons, children are equipped with Christian values that help them to become real people. The number of students per teacher is not high, so it’s easy to help every child carefully so as to perform well in class.” He comments.

“It’s the third time the primary six students sit for National examination, most of them in the first two groups succeeded with grade I and we hope that the current group one will also succeed considering the way the exams were prepared.”  He added.

The largest classroom at Pefa Wisdom School counts 33 children. Today the School has 261 students who are capable of speaking English, French and Kinyarwanda as they have good and experienced teachers.

“We thank our teachers who work endlessly to help the children get quality education here. Teachers are the first servants of all people but they are the ones who get low salary.” The Legal Representative of PEFA Wisdom School, Rev. Pst Muhizi Ezechias said

“We thank parents for their trust which pushed them to give us their children. We promise them to continue to make much effort toward quality education, so they don’t have to hesitate to send children to our school.”

Rev. Muhizi advises the leaving students not to be conformed to the outside world rather keeping Christian values they got.

He asks: “Soon you will start secondary school, you will meet your colleagues from different places whom you don’t share the same background. You have acquired Christian values; we encourage you to keep having good behaviour in front of your classmates, parents and children.”

The upper primary students pay Rwf 225, 000 a year compared to Rwf 199, 000 for Lower primary. Children take breakfast at school.
