The late American Poet Robert frost once said “a poem begins in delight and ends in wisdom”, makes a poem a true art in every sense. Frost is one among the celebrated poets of the 20th century who made poetry visible and more profound to the readers worldwide. The young born poet had his own life of tales to recover with, being a farmer, Frost experienced pastoral life and his farming endeavours gifted him with his rural settings found visible in many of his early works.
Frost used very simple and common language found in everyday life to exchange communications, as in his famous poem “The road not Taken”, clearly indicates two different paths in life and the direction to take one among the two highlights. His work “Mending Wall”, uses metaphors to describe the reality that surrounds within. The characteristic elements found in many of Frost’s works are similar in ways of daily life.
Frost had his own upbringing and tragedies to recollect, his life had many aspects, such as the suicide of his son Carol in 1940. His contemplated suicide was to add his depressive way in life. Robert frost was no ordinary in his acclaimed world, he lived to the fullest of his time and life.
