Africa’s Oil On Higher Demand As Iran War Pushes Prices Over U$100

Nigerian Petroleum Mogul Aliko Dangote has revealed that his oil company is receiving massive orders from various buyers across the globe.

The surge in orders is attributed to the ongoing war between Iran and US-Israel who seek to strategically incapacitate the Islamic Republic accused of seeking to manufacture nuclear bombs.

Billionaire Aliko Dangote’s oil refinery said it will prioritize supplying fuel in Nigeria, its home market, as long as it can access local crude.

The facility, which can process 650,000 barrels a day of oil, paused local supply pending an announcement of new prices for wholesalers, Chief Executive Officer David Bird said at a briefing in Lagos on Monday.

Dangote Fertiliser Ltd., one of Africa’s biggest producers of crop nutrients, has seen a substantial increase in demand for its products as the US-Israel war on Iran disrupts supplies.
