Fruits from Rwanda now available in UAE

Fresh Fruits from Rwanda are now being sold by Carrefour, a commercial company in the United Arab Emirates with various branches around the world.

The Rwandan embassy in the United Arab Emirates announced on Saturday that the first fruits from Rwanda had arrived in Carrefour.

Last week, Rwanda signed an agreement with the company to start exporting Rwandan fruits to various Carrefour stores around the world.

The new market is expected to help farmers and exporters of vegetables and fruits, with a focus on fruits, pineapple and avocado.

After opening the market, Rwanda’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Emmanuel Hategeka, thanked the Carrefour administration for welcoming the Rwandan fruits, assuring the company’s customers of the originality and taste of the Rwandan fruits.

Carefour is a developing company with branches in the Middle East and the Asian continent.

These Rwandan fruits are going to be sold around the world where they will be among some of the products in more than 320 stores owned by the company where more than 750 thousand customers shop at Carefour markets every day.
