European Business Chamber in Rwanda: Website Launch
The European Business Chamber of Rwanda (EBCR) is delighted to announce the launch of its website on Tuesday June 15th 2021. The website launch is one result of the successful collaboration between EBCR and TRAIDE, associated with the Netherlands Embassy of Rwanda.
The announcement was made during its first in-person networking event of the year. Respecting current Covid-29 guidelines, a small group of members and supporters of the business community gathered to pitch their businesses to one another and to share stories of resilience over the past year.
The European Business Chamber in Rwanda is a network of businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals working together to contribute to a flourishing business climate in Rwanda.
The website provides easy access to a list of our members, current advocacy topics and useful resources for doing business in Rwanda.
Ms. Johanna Solveig Juel Sandberg, the EBCR Executive Secretary congratulated the 80 members for their resilience in the past year and invited other potential members to register and benefit from the organisation’s powerful network.
EBCR is a business networking organization, welcoming businesses from any European country as well as individuals and businesses operating in Rwanda with close links to Europe. Established in 2020, EBCR is a private, not-for-profit initiative for the benefit of the private sector in Rwanda. Counting 80 members, EBCR aims to support the development and growth of the private sector through networking, advocacy and insights.
TRAIDE supports companies to identify and exploit opportunities, while enhancing positive impacts. The foundation aims to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on decent work and economic growth, living cities and communities, and gender equality (SDGs 8, 11 and 5). Our programmes in Africa are supported by the Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Addis Ababa and Kigali.
