Rwanda stands out as the only African country that has been governed by RPF for 30 years, bringing security, economic prosperity, and social well-being to its citizens. Despite this success, some opponents of the Rwandan government and foreign countries continue to criticize the leadership, claiming that President Kagame’s overwhelming electoral victories are a result of vote-stealing.
Critics often use media platforms to spread misinformation about Rwanda, but those with a clear vision recognize President Kagame as a valuable leader for the country. Even as some question the legitimacy of his election wins, veteran Rwandan politician Rucagu Boniface has refuted claims of vote-stealing, emphasizing that Rwandans themselves choose to support President Kagame.
President Kagame, addressing supporters during a recent campaign event in Musanze District, stressed that Rwandans should be the ones determining their own future. Political experts argue that Rwanda’s diverse leadership is under threat from those seeking to undermine the progress made in the country.
Government Spokesperson Yolande Makolo defended President Kagame’s track record, highlighting the positive changes he has brought to Rwanda. She emphasized that Rwandans make their choices based on what is best for their country, not to please external entities.
President Kagame’s overwhelming electoral victories reflect the trust and support he enjoys among the Rwandan population. Despite criticism from some quarters, his leadership continues to be celebrated by many for the progress and development seen in Rwanda under his tenure.
