Right to Play – Ghana, Mozambique and Rwanda: Gender Responsive Education and Transformation (GREAT) – $ 19.5 Million (2018-2023)

This project aims to remove barriers to gender equality and improve primary education in Ghana, Mozambique and Rwanda.

The Government says in a statement published on its website that “In particular, the project will address the challenges of the education sector, including barriers to girls’ education, and build on the lessons learned and achievements of the Play for the Advancement of Women project.

Humanitarian aid

World Food Program – Rwanda: Humanitarian Aid Funding – $ 750,000 (2018)

This project offers food distribution programs and food or cash-for-work programs, as well as school meals to help refugee populations, mainly from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi, as well as displaced persons in Rwanda.
