How to handle a bad boss
Getting along with your boss — at least professionally — is not only critical to career success but also your sanity. Given how much influence your manager has over you, taking time to mend a broken relationship is key. In addition to being respectful, cutting them some slack and trying to be introspective about the problems, a good tactic may be to ‘manage up’ — in other words, tell them what you need from them. This may mean creating the necessary documents or having the right conversations to ensure that they’re helping propel your career forward.
