Ericsson Mobility Report Out

The November 2021 Ericsson Mobility Report is now out.

Highlights include:

• In 2027 we forecast 4.4 billion 5G subscriptions globally, equaling around 50% of all mobile subscriptions.
• Last quarter, the total mobile network data traffic was more than all mobile data traffic ever generated up until the end of 2016.
• In 2021, Broadband IoT (4G/5G) has taken over from 2G and 3G as the segment that enable the biggest share of IoT applications.
