Kinshasa To Host African Investments Forum (FOGECA)

In June Kinshasa will host a major gathering, the Forum of Operators for the Guarantee of Economic Emergence in Africa (FOGECA).
This High level FOGECA Summit, is an annual economic forum led by President Amadou Diagne that fosters partnerships between African, European, Middle Eastern, and Asian business leaders and officials.
President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi on Thursday, held a meeting with two special envoys of the Gambian President Adama Baro.
Amadou Diagne and Kami Kashama, respectively Special Envoy and Itinerant Ambassador, presented to President Tshisekedi the report of the last FOGECA Summit that took place in December 18-20, 2025, in Dubai under the theme: “Invest in Africa, invest in Dubai”.
These meetings decided to award, during the next African Union summit to be held from February 14 to 15, a prize to the Congolese leader for his efforts in the framework of economic integration in Africa.
The Gambian envoy also requested from the President of the DRC that the city of Kinshasa hosts a forum of African investments scheduled for June.
