Maputo to host international investment congress on 9 and 10 December 2026
Two-day event will connect investors, businesses and government representatives through project presentations and B2B and B2G meetings.
MAPUTO, Mozambique — The Mozambique International Investment Congress (MIIC 2026) will take place on 9–10 December 2026 at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre in Maputo.
Under the theme “Mozambique. Ready for Investment.”, the congress will bring together investors, businesses, financial institutions and government representatives to explore investment opportunities and partnerships in Mozambique.”
Approximately 300 participants are expected. The programme will combine plenary and thematic sessions with investment project presentations, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, business-to-government (B2G) meetings and engagement with potential financiers.
These exchanges are intended to help participants identify commercial partners, explore financing options and discuss the practical requirements for implementing or expanding projects in the country.
The agenda will cover agriculture and agro-industry, industry, energy and natural resources, logistics and transport, infrastructure, the digital economy and tourism.
MIIC 2026 aims to attract new investment and encourage the expansion and reinvestment of companies already operating in Mozambique. Its focus is on partnerships that can support industrialisation, economic diversification, job creation and greater local value addition.
