Rwanda Broadcasting Agency Signs Cooperation Agreement with Mozambique Television
The Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) has signed a cooperation agreement with Televisão de Moçambique (TVM) aimed at promoting and strengthening the journalism profession.
The agreement was signed by Rwanda’s Ambassador to Mozambique, Col (Rtd) Donat Ndamage, and TVM Director General Victor Filipe Sinai Nhatitima.
The agreement seeks to facilitate the exchange of programmes, their digitization, and other media-related activities, with the broader goal of strengthening understanding and promoting the cultural, social and economic development of the two countries.
Ambassador Col (Rtd) Ndamage said the agreement will provide an important platform for strengthening cooperation between TVM and RBA, particularly through information sharing and the development of journalists’ knowledge and professional skills.
Nhatitima said the agreement goes beyond cooperation between TVM and RBA, describing it as an opportunity to connect Mozambique and Rwanda through the media while promoting culture and knowledge.
He added that the partnership will support the production of television programmes focusing on areas including tourism, education and technological innovation.
