PM Ngirente received Africa50 CEO in Kigali
Rwanda’s Prime Minister, Dr. Edouard Ngirente, has welcomed the CEO of Africa 50, Alain Ebobisse, to discuss the implementation of the Kigali Innovation City project, which is expected to be Rwanda’s hub for technology.
The Africa50 has launched a multi-sector investment project that focuses on technology, technology and innovation on an area of 61 hectares located in the Masoro Industrial Area in Kigali City.
Alain Ebobisse, CEO of the Africa50, says the center is implementing the country’s development vision.
The Kigali Innovation City project is being implemented by Africa50 in collaboration with the Government of Rwanda represented by Rwanda Development Board and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology
Africa50 was established by African governments and the African Development Bank to help bridge Africa’s infrastructure funding gap by facilitating project development, mobilizing public and private sector finance, and investing in infrastructure on the continent.
Africa50 focuses on medium- to large-scale projects that have a significant development impact and that provide an appropriate risk-adjusted return to investors.
