GATENGA: More than 400 young people attend the youth patronage on a daily basis

Don Bosco Gatenga Youth Centre in Kigali is attracting over 400 enthusiastic youth who are attending the activities and events as part of the youth patronage for the year 2023. The patronage started on October 14th,2023, and will end on September 1st,2023, as explained by the organizers.

Parents are advised to send their children for this opportunity since it is still ongoing.

The Youth Patronage program at Don Bosco Gatenga Youth Centre aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to engage in various activities that promote personal and social development.

This year, the program has seen a remarkable turnout, with more than 400 young individuals attending on a daily basis.

According to Brother Patrick Ntigurirwa, sdb, the patronage offers a wide range of activities to cater to the diverse interests and talents of the attendees.

He said “These activities include sports competitions, arts and crafts workshops, music and dance classes, educational programs, and many other sessions.”

 The aim is to provide a holistic approach to cater for the young people during the holidays ensuring that participants have opportunities for physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
