Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ received Diamond certification in France

Burna Boy has expanded his collection with yet another Diamond plaque.

Burna Boy is a leading artist who is introducing African music to audiences worldwide with his Grammy-winning songs and unprecedented live performances.

The Grammy winner has achieved yet another historic milestone: the French music certification organization SNEP has certified his smash hit song “Last Last” as a Diamond.

This was disclosed in a post on SNEP’s Instagram page following the song’s 50 million stream in the nation.

One of the lead singles from Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated sixth album, “Love, Damini,” “Last Last,” was released in 2022. The brilliant production, which samples Toni Braxton’s “Not Man Enough,” as well as the catchy melody and clever use of Nigerian slang, make this heartbreak-themed single stand out.

The song performed remarkably well on the charts, including in France where it peaked at No. 23, and it received a Grammy nomination in the World Music category.

Burna Boy, who is still at the forefront of exporting African music, recently received Platinum and Gold plaques for his songs “Gbona” and “Alone” in France.

‘Last Last’ is certified in more countries than just France. In the US, the UK, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada, the single has received Platinum and 2X Platinum certifications, respectively.
