This morning, Minister of State, Kabarebe James held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Silvio José Albuquerque e Silva, Ambassador of Brazil to Rwanda, with residence in Nairobi, Kenya.
Their discussion focused on exploring ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Rwanda and Brazil have had a longstanding relationship since 1981. In 2019, both countries signed the Bilateral Air Services Agreements (BASA).
In 2021, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the promotion of South-South cooperation in agriculture strengthening and food security.
