AWiM in partnership with Article 19, will host its 8th annual African in Media ConferenceāÆfrom āā5 – 6āā December 2024, in the Senegalese Capital of Dakar
The conference theme, Media, and Sustainability is explored from three key perspectives: media business and financial models, sustainable development goals, and Artificial Intelligence.
Media businesses can achieve sustainability by diversifying revenue streams, embracing digital transformation, and fostering inclusive storytelling. Conversations at the conference will feature how prioritizing audience engagement, supporting women-led and women-owned businesses, and balancing economic realities will ultimately promote economic resilience for women-led and women-owned media businesses.
With a global lineup of speakers, the event promises to be a landmark gathering, featuring meticulously curated sessions addressing innovative strategies, delivered through equally innovative formats including panels, fireside chats, fishbowl sessions, workshops, and exhibitions.
