President Kagame Welcomes King Mswati III of Eswatini for Official Visit
President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame welcomed His Majesty King Mswati III and Inkhosikati Make LaMashwama at Urugwiro Village for an official welcome ceremony.
The visit aimed to further strengthen the growing bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and the Kingdom of Eswatini.
During the ceremony, King Mswati inspected the Guard of Honour before engaging in a tête-à-tête with President Kagame.
The two Heads of State also witnessed the signing of Memoranda of Understanding on Defence, Police Cooperation, Correction Service, and Visa Exemption for holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports.
The official visit follows King Mswati’s participation in the inauguration of President Kagame and signifies the commitment of both countries to enhance their partnership.
The discussions held during the visit are expected to pave the way for increased collaboration in various sectors, benefiting both nations.
The warm reception extended to King Mswati III and his delegation underscores the strong and cordial relations between Rwanda and Eswatini.
