Russia: Rwandan Ambassador discuss direct shipments of coffee and tea from Rwanda to Voronezh

Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev met Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda in Russia Dr. Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya on Monday, October 15. At the meeting, they discussed the possibility of direct shipments of coffee and tea from Rwanda to Voronezh.

Also, the meeting included a discussion of shipments of sunflower oil, sugar and grain from the Voronezh Region to the African republic. The representatives of the Republic reported their interest in establishing contacts with Voronezh enterprises and exchanging experience in the agro-industrial production field. The Governor ordered to organize a direct exchange of contacts between the concerned manufacturers of Rwanda and of the Voronezh Region.

Another two courses of possible cooperation discussed at the meeting are education and culture. Dr. Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya invited Alexander Gusev and a delegation from the Voronezh Region to visit the Republic of Rwanda and estimate the country’s development level and perspectives. The Head of the Region thanked her for the invitation noting that the Regional Government sees all the contacts that contribute to the development of the region’s economy as important.
