COVID19 Response: Recommendations for Education and Capacity building

According to Smart Africa organization, the following are key recommendations for the Post Covid 19 era:

•Zero rate all educational websites

•Re-activate 1 laptop per child project

•Provide virtual classroom (Universities and High schools)

•Use Zero-rated Closed User Groups between teachers and parents in the rural areas to ensure continuity of education.

•Digital literacy for businesses to migrate products and services online

•Capacity building for workers/employees to use virtual working platforms

Smart Africa main objective is to Defining Africa’s Digital Agenda and driving the Continental Single Digital Market.
