Ambassador Vicent Karega exchanged with Félix Tshisekedi on several subjects

 

The Head of the Democratic Republic of Congo Félix Tshisekedi had an exchange on Tuesday, August 25 with Vincent Karega, Rwandan ambassador stationed in the DRC on several subjects.

According to the presidential press, the meeting between the two personalities focused on security issues.

According to the same source, “the large-scale operations launched since October 2019 in eastern DRC and the fight against armed groups, some of which are of Rwandan origin”, have been scrupulously analyzed by the latter.

Tshisekedi and Karega also talked about development in the Great Lakes region

At the end of the hearing, the representative of Rwanda in the DRC, expressed his satisfaction in relation to the good relations that the two maintain on several levels.

In addition, indicates the presidential press, Vincent Karega declared that President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, in his capacity as first vice-president of the African Union, plays a big role in the pacification of the region and the DRC where he decided to dismantle all negative forces, including the FDLR which posed a threat to Rwanda.
