Rwanda sets to hand over decent Houses to citizens relocated from Kangondo High Risk Zones
Rwanda’s Minister of Local Government Prof. Anastase SHYAKA accompanied by the Mayor of the City of Kigali Pudence Rubingisa visited some residents of Nyarutarama Cell, Remera Sector to discuss the relocation plan to decent houses built in Busanza in Kicukiro District as part of the continuous search of the Wellbeing of Rwandan Citizens.
It is in the process of implementing the Kigali City Plan, with a focus on addressing the problem of disordered housing which is often endangering the lives of the people.
Rwanda is set to relocate citizens from Kangondo Villages to decent houses which have been completed in Busanza, Kicukiro District.
Busanza Village has water, electricity, roads and schools and clinics nearby.
Kigali Mayor Pudence Rubingisa reassured residents that the City of Kigali will remain closer to them adding that those who have been already relocated to the above-mentioned place are happy living in a place which is not putting their lives in danger.
