In an effort to enhance collaboration in the field of environment and climate change, Minister Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya, Rwanda’s Minister of Environment, on Friday, 18th August, 2023, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Silvio José Albuquerque e Silva, the Ambassador of Brazil to Rwanda.
The meeting, which took place in Kigali, at the Ministry’s Headquarters, aimed to explore areas of partnership between the two countries and foster cooperation in addressing pressing environmental challenges.
During the meeting, Minister Mujawamariya and Ambassador Silva engaged in a fruitful discussion regarding the mutual interests of Rwanda and Brazil in environmental preservation and climate change mitigation.
Both parties highlighted the importance of international cooperation in tackling these global issues and acknowledged the potential for collaboration between their respective nations.
