Snoop Dogg’s Smokeless Revelation: Fans React to Quitting Smoking

Snoop Dogg succeeded in fooling the internet when he claimed to quit smoking. He has deleted his previous posts where he declared his intention to stop smoking. As it happens, he intended to appear “smokeless.”

On Monday, November 20, 2023, it was noticed that the rapper had removed his earlier posts. In addition, he had uploaded a new video, which was revealed to be an advertisement for a smokeless stove.

In the video, he said, “I have an announcement, I’m giving up smoke. I know what you’re thinking, ‘Snoop, smoke is kinda your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it, I’m going smokeless.”

Social media users in general as well as Snoop Dogg’s followers have responded to his post. While some referred to him as a marketing genius, others claimed to have known his post about quitting smoking was a fluke all along.

Chanel West Coast, one user, commented, “Marketing genius!!! Man, best marketing play ever, Snoop, you really had everyone bout to quit smoking.” Another user commented, “I knew it when he said ‘smoke’ that all was not what it seems.”

His post did not amuse some social media users, who criticized him for being insensitive to people attempting to overcome addiction.

The rapper received harsh criticism from an enraged user who wrote, “Joking around with sobriety/quitting substances is lame af.” Snoop has just turned into a pawn for whichever commercial brand is currently popular. He will say anything you ask him to. a depressing course.”

Snoop Dogg’s initial post that had the world believing that he quit smoking

Snoop has never hidden his love of smoking during his career. He has also told tales to a few other performers, such as Willie Nelson, Ed Sheeran, and Matthew McConaughey, about his experiences getting stoned. He even once confessed to smoking a blunt in the White House during President Obama’s tenure. It also doesn’t appear to be the end of an era as many of his fans had assumed.
