Nigerian megastar Davido had an incredible year in 2023. He released his eagerly awaited fourth album, “Timeless,” which produced hit songs that topped the charts and broke numerous streaming records.

With 2023 drawing to a close, media outlets, listeners, artists, and streaming platforms are showcasing their top songs from the year.

One of the singles from Davido’s incredible fourth album “Timeless,” “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys, is the song that pop sensation Rihanna thinks is the best of the year.

As per Rihanna’s recent interview, she has been listening to ‘Unavailable’ nonstop this entire year.

During the interview, the musician-turned-billionaire businesswoman also mentioned her top 2023 song as “Mnike,” a hit song by Tyler ICU.

‘Unavailable’ by Davido is a global hit song, so Rihanna is not the only one who loves it. The song ended the year in the top 10 Nigerian songs on Spotify and Apple Music, and it peaked at number one on TurnTable Top 100.

Internationally, ‘Unavailable’ enjoyed impressive success, inspiring several remixes, including one featuring American rapper Latto and Jamaican Dancehall icon Sean Paul.

Out of three nominations, Davido’s song “Unavailable” will compete for the Grammy award for Best African Music Performance on February 5, 2024, with the hope of winning his first Grammy.
