Rwanda: Struggling Artist Pleads for Help: A Cry for Recognition and Support

After the news broke that the singer of “Azabatsinda Kagame” was generously supported by the RPF Inkotanyi members in Kamonyi District with a new home and plans to start farming, her colleague also made a plea for help following his song “Ndandambara.”

In Post on X., the singer revealed his struggles with poverty and expressed his fear of discussing it openly.

He poured his heart out expressing his desire to showcase his art and patriotism but with ability.

Accompanied by photos of Beata, who received a new house, Ndandambara wrote: “This gesture proves that the Rwandan media has abandoned me.” He went on to appeal to President Paul Kagame, the RPF Inkotanyi, and Tito Rutaremara to remember him and his children in their thoughts and actions.

He acknowledged his desire to contribute to his country but also acknowledged his limitations. Despite the ambiguity of his plea, those who responded assured him that better days are ahead.

He concluded by saying, “I find it difficult to open up about my struggles,…It makes me question what went wrong with my song.”
