President Kagame of Rwanda Urges Action Against Immorality in Youth

The President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, expressed his concern over the continuing immorality among the youth, particularly those who undress in public. He called on leaders and parents to take action against these behaviors that are harming the Rwandan culture.

President Kagame reiterated his message on Sunday, January 19, 2024, duringthe 30th National Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the Rwanda Leaders Fellowship. He expressed his sadness at witnessing the collapse of Rwandan society, with parents, government leaders, and religious leaders standing by.

President Kagame highlighted the issue of families collapsing within months, emphasizing the importance of building a strong foundation. He also criticized the trend of individuals posing naked on social media, stating that it reflects a deeper issue of moral decay.

Addressing alcoholism and drug abuse, President Kagame identified these as root causes of problems in families. He urged leaders to take responsibility for addressing these issues and promoting healthy values.

President Kagame emphasized the role of parents, religious leaders, and government officials in shaping the behavior of the youth. He stressed the importance of taking proactive measures to prevent further moral decline in Rwandan society.

He urged leaders to take action and not merely watch as the country suffers from the consequences of youth immorality. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to build a stable and prosperous Rwandan Society.
