Triumphant Return to Barranquilla Shakira made history with two sold-out concerts in
her hometown after 19 years. The emotional performances were attended by her mother,
her children, and 4,000 children from her Pies Descalzos Foundation. Special guests
included percussion group Tato Marenco and Chelito De Castro, who joined her on piano
for an unforgettable rendition of “Chantaje.” The night was a heartfelt tribute to her roots
and culture.
Big Winner at Premio Lo Nuestro Shakira dominated Premio Lo Nuestro, taking home
six prestigious awards, including Album of the Year for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran and
Female Pop Artist of the Year.
Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour: A Global Phenomenon Shakira’s Las Mujeres
Ya No Lloran World Tour continues to be a massive success, selling out stadiums across
Latin America. A historic milestone was set with seven consecutive sold-out nights at
Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. Due to overwhelming demand, new tour dates have
been added, including April 2 in the Dominican Republic and November 15 & 16 in Peru.
The North American leg begins on May 13, with highly anticipated stops in cities like
Montreal, Toronto, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Headliner for WorldPride 2025 Welcome Concert Shakira will headline the WorldPride
2025 Welcome Concert on May 31, 2025, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. This
monumental event celebrates the 50th anniversary of Pride in the United States,
reinforcing Shakira’s steadfast support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
