Guinean President Mamadi Doumbouya Arrives in Kigali for Africa CEO Forum
Guinean President Mamadi Doumbouya arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, on Tuesday evening to participate in the upcoming Africa CEO Forum.
Upon his arrival at Kigali International Airport, the Guinean leader was received by Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda, marking the beginning of an official working visit aimed at deepening bilateral relations and advancing pan-African economic partnerships.

The two-day summit, scheduled to begin on May 14 at the Kigali Convention Centre, will gather global business leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss industrial sovereignty, regional trade infrastructure, and private sector growth across the continent.
President Doumbouya joins a prominent delegation of African heads of state hosted by Rwandan President Paul Kagame for the high-level economic forum.
This visit underscores the rapidly growing diplomatic ties between Conakry and Kigali, following President Kagame’s recent journey to Conakry in January to witness Doumbouya’s presidential inauguration.
Over the course of the summit, the Guinean delegation is expected to pitch strategic investment opportunities, particularly within Guinea’s expanding mining and infrastructure sectors, while reviewing existing technology and security cooperation agreements previously established between the two nations.
