Rwanda International Trade Fair 2026 Set to Attract Over 500 Exhibitors
The 29th Rwanda International Trade Fair (Expo 2026) will take place from July 28 to August 17 at the Gikondo Expo Grounds in Kigali, with organizers expecting more than 500 exhibitors and over 300,000 visitors during the 21-day event.
Organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), the annual trade fair is expected to bring together businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, service providers and consumers from Rwanda and abroad to showcase products, services, innovations and investment opportunities, while fostering business-to-business networking.
According to the organizers, participants from more than 20 countries are expected to attend, reinforcing the event’s reputation as one of the region’s leading platforms for trade promotion, investment and regional business collaboration.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, PSF Acting Chief Executive Officer Callixte Kanamugire described the trade fair as an important platform for expanding business opportunities.
“The Rwanda International Trade Fair 2026 is more than an exhibition; it is a premier platform for business growth, innovation, investment and regional collaboration. We warmly invite local and international businesses, development partners, government institutions and the general public to join us from 28 July to 17 August at the Gikondo Expo Grounds. Together, let us showcase the best of Rwanda and the world, forge new partnerships, and unlock opportunities that will drive sustainable economic growth and prosperity,” he said.
Organizers say the exhibition will offer businesses an opportunity to expand market access, establish strategic partnerships, launch new products and services, and connect with thousands of potential customers and investors.
Exhibitor registration is now open, with businesses encouraged to reserve exhibition space early.
Held annually for nearly three decades, the Rwanda International Trade Fair has grown into the country’s largest trade exhibition and a key platform for promoting local innovation, investment and the Made-in-Rwanda initiative.
The previous edition attracted a record 475 exhibitors, including 378 from Rwanda and 97 international exhibitors representing 19 countries. Cameroon and Saudi Arabia participated in the exhibition for the first time, marking the continued expansion of the event’s international reach.
The organizers say they expect this year’s edition to build on that momentum by attracting even more exhibitors and strengthening Rwanda’s position as a regional hub for trade, investment and business networking.
